Organized by the CMA, the Guangxi International Expositions Bureau and the Nanning Municipal Government, the “Hong Kong Trendy Expo” was officially opened at the Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Centre on 28 January. The officiating guests of the opening ceremony included CMA President Dr David Wong; CMA Vice-President cum Chairman of CMA Exhibition Service Ltd Mr Irons Sze; Director General of Guangxi International Expositions Bureau Mr Zheng Junjian; Vice-Mayor of Nanning Mr Li Zhiyong, President of Guangxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Mr Wei Gan; Under Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Mr Greg So; Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs, Guangdong, Mr Rex Chang; and Ambassador of the Expo Ms Sharen Tang.
