Welcome to the website of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA). Through this website, we aim to provide the latest market information and industrial and trade news to our members as well as Hong Kong and overseas enterprises. Here we also give a brief account of the development milestones of the Association, together with the latest updates on our full range of services and activities, enabling our visitors to gain a better understanding of the CMA with just a click.

Founded in 1934, the CMA is one of the oldest and most representative chambers of industry and commerce in Hong Kong, with an aim to foster industrial and commercial development in Hong Kong, and to contribute to a better future for our community.

Facing unprecedented opportunities in the new era, we will build on our existing strengths and further develop our diverse services. The CMA will continue to assist Hong Kong businesses in brand building and promotion through the Hong Kong Brand Development Council. The Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo is already a household name in Hong Kong, and we intend to stage the exposition in more Mainland cities to help our manufacturers tap into the vast Mainland market. Capitalizing on the HKSAR Government’s commitment to developing the six dominant industries, the CMA will step up development of its testing and certification services.

Fulfilling our corporate social responsibility is yet another mission of the CMA. We will continue to put forward visionary yet practical recommendations to the HKSAR Government and the community at large on topical issues ranging from employment, education, healthcare reform, population ageing to constitutional development, with a view to fostering economic development, creating jobs, improving the general livelihood, and building a harmonious society.

With increasing industrial and trade collaboration between Hong Kong and the Mainland, the CMA will strengthen its services provided to Hong Kong manufacturers operating in the Mainland. To this end, the Association will maintain close communication with the Central and Provincial Governments as well as Offices of the HKSAR Government in the Mainland to help manufacturers resolve problems encountered, tap new investment opportunities, and undergo industrial upgrading and transformation.

Thank you for visiting our website. Your comments will be most welcomed and appreciated. We look forward to your continued support in the years ahead.
