CMA Annual Report 1976-1977
This report documents the accomplishments of CMA during 1976-1977, including the efforts to revive the Exhibition of Hong Kong Products, the advocacy achievements, the trade promotion missions, the receptions of delegations, and the services for members, the competitions, the opening of prevocational school and the scholarships. It also contains the Hong Kong's trade figures, the list of members of 22nd General Committee and various committees.

Meeting on “Government Interference with Customary Business Commission”
Action taken by the Independent Commission Against Corruption（ICAC）against persons and companies involved in giving commissions for trade purposes in early 1976 caused great concern in commercial and industrial sectors. Hence, CMA and other leading trade and industrial organizations decided to work together and a Joint Associations’ Committee on “Government Interference with Customary Business Commission” was established. In November, a Joint Associations’ meeting on “Government Interference with Customary Business Commission” was held at the City Hall. Over 500 representatives from 306 civic bodies attended to exchange views on this problem.
