自2004年起，廠商會已先後在內地多個主要城市舉辦工展會，而李秀恒會長更把工展會帶到台灣及澳門等地，其中最為特別是在2017年，即香港回歸20周年，成功於中國首都北京舉辦工展會。另外，李會長認為業界應要有長遠的國際視野，除了傳統歐美市場，還要關注其他新興市場的發展，例如近年國家積極推動「一帶一路」倡議，為幫助業界率先抓住商機，他便組織了中亞考察團。
