提及廠商會，不期然便想到工展會。工展會自1974年開始因缺乏合適場地而停辦，及至1994年始復辦，梁欽榮會長分享了當時決定恢復舉辦工展會的原因及經過。此外，梁會長亦提到工展會於1998年首次進駐國內。

楊孫西會長分享了他成為會長後修訂會章，規定會長任期只限一屆，不可連任，令會內其他優秀人才也能有機會為廠商會作出貢獻，而在他的提攜下，洪克協、黃友嘉及施榮懷其後陸續晉升為廠商會的會長。
楊會長又提到任內的主要工作成果，包括舉行一系列活動慶祝和紀念廠商會成立70周年，成功策動旗下品牌發展局推出「Top嘜」認證，以及成立「廠商會保險代理有限公司」，為會員企業提供切合其業務需要的保險服務等。

Oral History Interview – Mr Hung H H, Peter (Part I)
洪克協會長的家族由祖父一輩開始已加入廠商會的會董會，而洪會長則是在父親的引薦下成為會董會成員。洪會長當時主要負責廠商會的財務工作。他舉例說，當年廠商會檢定中心因錄得虧損而曾被考慮放棄，但在他極力爭取下，檢定中心最終能繼續經營下去。洪會長又憶述在任期間曾修訂廠商會的選舉方法以及相關章程，由會員投票選出會董，他相信在當時來說，是首個商會採用民主選舉制度。
