楊孫西會長分享了他成為會長後修訂會章，規定會長任期只限一屆，不可連任，令會內其他優秀人才也能有機會為廠商會作出貢獻，而在他的提攜下，洪克協、黃友嘉及施榮懷其後陸續晉升為廠商會的會長。
楊會長又提到任內的主要工作成果，包括舉行一系列活動慶祝和紀念廠商會成立70周年，成功策動旗下品牌發展局推出「Top嘜」認證，以及成立「廠商會保險代理有限公司」，為會員企業提供切合其業務需要的保險服務等。
