Summary:
Occupational health is a growing concern amongst employers and employees. A healthy working environment is not only good for the employees’ health but also good for the organizational productivity and establishes a positive image. In order to assist employers and employees to create a healthy working environment, Occupational Health Award 2019-20 is organized by the Occupational Safety and Health Council with other co-organizers. There are 3 categories under the Award: “Joyful@Healthy Workplace Best Practices Award”, “Hearing Conservation Best Practices Award” and “Prevention of Pneumoconiosis Best Practices Award”. Innovative Award will also be presented again this year so as to encourage organizations to enhance good health practice at work from an innovative prespective.
