Labour Department invites employers to join the
Good Employer Charter 2024 (supported by CMA)

The Labour Department (LD) launches the Good Employer Charter 2024 featuring the theme of “Supportive Family-friendly Good Employer” to continuously encourage employers of different trades and scales to adopt good human resource management and family-friendly employment practices so as to promote employees’ work-family/ work-life balance.  LD also produced a promotional video starring Ms Do Do CHENG to convey the messages in a lively way and cordially invite employers to support and participate in the Good Employer Charter 2024.

Organisations accredited by the Panel of Judges will be (i) awarded the Certificate of GEC 2024, (ii) authorised to use GEC 2024 logo in their letterheads, publications and promotional materials for two years (for an organisation accredited as the signatories of the Good Employer Charter for three consecutive terms (i.e. GEC 2018, GEC 2020 and GEC 2024), its charter logo will be upgraded to a premium logo), and (iii) listed in the signatory list of the thematic website for public access.  Organisations also accredited by the Panel of Judges as effectively promoting family-friendly employment practices will also be authorised to use the “Supportive Family-friendly Good Employer” logo for two years.
