The 59th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo Warmly Opens This Saturday
The 59th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo (HKBPE), organised by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (the CMA), will be held at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay from 13 December 2025 to 5 January 2026. As the grand finale shopping event of the year, this edition has been comprehensively upgraded, offering a diverse array of products at attractive discounts alongside a rich line-up of performances and rewarding promotions, all designed to deliver an unforgettable experience for both locals and tourists.
At today’s media briefing, CMA President Dr Wingco Lo highlighted that the expo not only drives local retail but also serves as a vital platform for social unity and positive energy. “Whenever Hong Kong faces challenges, the CMA and the HKPBE are among the first to stand with the public—this Tai Po fire is no exception,” said Dr Lo. “To meet the urgent needs of the victims, the CMA has promptly donated HK$10 million, including a portion of this year’s ticket revenue from the HKBPE. By attending the HKBPE, visitors not only support the local economy but also contribute to this relief effort.” The CMA will continue mobilising exhibitors and member companies to support the ongoing relief and reconstruction efforts.
This year’s expo features over 900 booths across 12 themed zones. From time-honoured brands to innovative start-ups, and from local delicacies to daily necessities, the HKBPE offers a comprehensive range of products, all at exceptionally attractive prices. Throughout the expo, four major shopping promotions will be rolled out, with a wide selection of items available for as low as HK$1 or 90% off. Visitors paying with the designated e-payment platforms—BoC Pay+ from Bank of China (Hong Kong) or AlipayHK—will enjoy additional exclusive discounts.
In support of the Hong Kong government’s efforts to develop the silver economy, this year’s expo introduces a brand new “Senior Vitality Zone,” tailored for middle-aged and elderly visitors as well as their families. The zone showcases a wide range of premium Chinese medicines, health foods, nutritional supplements, personal care, and wellness products, alongside interactive experiences and professional health consultations that encourage seniors to embrace a vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle. The popular “Silver Consumption Privileges” from last year will also return, with over 100 exhibitors offering an additional discount of at least 5% to Senior Citizen Card or JoyYou Card holders, further boosting silver consumption.
Two dedicated catering zones—the Food Plaza and the Chillax Zone—will showcase a compelling array of culinary delights, including local street foods, international cuisines, alcoholic beverages, and wine-pairing bites. Adding to the experience, the Chillax Zone offers 30 complimentary glasses of red or white wine daily at 3pm.
Mr Ivan Sze, Vice President of CMA and Chairman of CMA Exhibition Services Limited, expressed his hope that the HKBPE would serve as a place of warmth and unity, offering citizens a moment of respite amid the current challenging atmosphere. “During the expo, we will run a series of lucky draws and activities, with prizes totaling over HK$4 million. We have also partnered with RTHK, Commercial Radio, and various performance groups to present a diverse programme of stage entertainment, including Cantonese opera, instrumental recitals, dance shows, Christmas-themed events and more. We hope these activities will bring comfort and encouragement to the community.”
Additionally, three popular competitions, including the “Miss Exhibition Pageant”, “HKBPE Super Kid Model Contest” and “DJ Mixing Competition”, will be held in rotation. Notably, the long-established “Miss Exhibition Pageant” will see 11 contestants vying for champion, first runner-up, second runner-up and four special awards through various activities held during the event.
Admission fee is HK$10, with online purchases before 13 December enjoying an early bird discount for just HK$8. During the Christmas holiday period (23 to 31 December), opening hours will be extended to 10pm. On other days, the HKBPE closes at 9pm, except for the final day when it closes at 8pm. Admission is free every evening after 7pm except for the final day.
