The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated 57th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo (HKBPE), which will take place from 16 December 2023 to 8 January 2024, at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay. This grand finale of the year features over 900 booths and offering an unmatched experience of diverse products, entertainment, and prizes for visitors of all ages.

Dr Allen Shi, President of CMA said, “As the esteemed titleholder of the most representative outdoor exposition in Hong Kong, with a remarkable 85-year history brimming with cherished memories, the HKBPE is more than just a shopping paradise. It is also a symbol of social solidarity, celebrating the culture and traditions that make Hong Kong proud. With an even wider array of product choices, surprises, and a blend of new and traditional experiences, we are committed to keeping Hong Kong citizens in the city to celebrate the holidays and stimulate local spending, while simultaneously attracting more tourists to our vibrant city and contributing to the growth of our economy.”

The expo will feature 10 thematic zones catering to various interests, including the Hong Kong Brands Square; Food & Beverages Zone; Grocery & Noodles Zone; Ginseng, Dried Seafood & Soup Packs Zone; Beauty & Healthcare Zone, Fashion & Stylish Products Zone; Living & Household Zone; Yummy Food Zone; Social Enterprises Zone and the Promotion Zone. Each zone promises a treasure trove of unbeatable value for money products. Exhibitors will offer an abundance of deals, including hundreds of “$1 Products” and items with discounts of up to 90% during three waves of promotional periods. For even greater savings, visitors can utilise PayMe for exclusive additional price reductions.

No carnival is complete without mouthwatering food, and the HKBPE’s Yummy Food Zone will not disappoint. Numerous food stalls will tantalize visitors’ taste buds, offering a wide selection of local and international cuisines and wines to indulge in. Furthermore, for the first time, alcoholic products, including red wine, white wine, craft beer, Japanese whisky and cocktail, will be available for sale and tasting at the expo, adding a delightful experience for visitors.

Exciting lucky draws will also take place during the HKBPE, with a total prize value of HK$4 million, providing attendees the opportunity to win fabulous prizes.

Entertainment will be abundant at the HKBPE, with mesmerizing performances by various performance groups throughout the day. In addition to the dance performance by the Muqam Art Troupe of Xinjiang Art Theater, the renowned Miss Exhibition Pageant, a timeless tradition with a long history, will be a prominent feature of the expo. Today, during the press conference, nine contestants unveiled themselves to the media and guests. Ms Ho Pui Wa, representing Wo Hing Loong Food Co. Ltd., claimed the first award - the “Most Eye-catching Award”, igniting a fierce competition for the other awards and the coveted crown. Other captivating entertainment include Chinese opera, live radio shows, kung fu demonstrations, orchestral performances, singing and dancing acts, Christmas-themed activities and interactive game booths.

Ivan Sze, Vice President of CMA and Chairman of CMA Exhibition Services Limited, expressed confidence in the expo’s sales potential, stating, “The expo period coincides perfectly with the traditional shopping peak season leading up to the Chinese New Year. Together with the rich content of the expo and a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, visitors will stay longer and buy more.”

As the HKBPE has benefited from the government’s rental concession measures, CMA has reduced the exhibitors’ participation fees and the admission ticket price. Admission fee is HK$8. In support of the Hong Kong government’s initiative to boost the night economy, the expo’s opening hours will be extended until 10pm during the Christmas holiday period (from 23rd to 31st December), and until 9 pm on other days (except 8pm on the last day). Furthermore, free admission will be offered from 7pm onwards, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy the fun to the fullest.
