Sets to Dazzle Macau with Deals and Delights
 

The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) is pleased to announce that the 6th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo (HKBPE), Macau will be held at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 29 to April 1, 2024. Celebrating CMA's momentous 90th anniversary, the four-day expo promises an extravaganza of entertainment, exceptional deals, and delightful surprises for attendees.
 
At today's press conference, Mr Albert Chuang Ka Pun, Vice President of CMA and Vice Chairman of CMA Exhibition Services Limited, highlighted the expo’s pivotal role amidst the burgeoning Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) development. “The GBA initiative has propelled Macau’s economy towards impressive diversification and has ushered in a wealth of fresh opportunities. HKPBE, Macau serves as a conduit for entrepreneurs eager to capitalise on these emerging prospects. Moreover, it fosters tighter bonds between Hong Kong and Macau, both commercially and culturally.”
 
Mr Chuang also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Macau citizens for their support. “As CMA turns 90, we are honored to commemorate this milestone with the people here, extending our deepest appreciation for their steadfast support throughout the years. We assure you, the expo is replete with a treasure trove of prizes, boundless fun, and heartwarming laughter.”
 
The HKBPE, Macau prides itself on connecting high quality Hong Kong and global branded products with local people. The expo is meticulously divided into five thematic zones, accommodating over 230 booths brimming with an eclectic mix of merchandise. Exquisite offerings include cooked food, packaged food and beverages, dried seafood, home appliances, sophisticated kitchenware, and beauty and healthcare products, alongside apparel and accessories—all available at deep discounted prices, with selective items astonishingly slashed by up to 90% or presented at MOP$1.
 
The expo’s inauguration day (i.e. 29 March) will see a special offering of “CMA 90th Anniversary Lucky Bags” laden with products at jaw-dropping discounts, such as 90% off premium American kitchenware, 70% off fresh yogurt products, and 50% off dried abalone. Visitors can savour the joy of the CMA 90th Anniversary and participate in an interactive contest for a chance to win joyful rewards onsite.
 
Moreover, the expo features various lucky draws with an aggregate prize value exceeding MOP$500,000. Visitors can join the draws by using electronic payments, completing the Shopping Guide form, or registering for the HKBPE App membership. Lucrative prizes range from high-end home appliances, bedding, to hotel accommodation and hotel dinner buffet, all poised to enhance the celebratory spirit.
 
The excitement extends beyond these activities! Attendees of all ages can look forward to engaging workshops and captivating live stage shows. Highlights include appearances by renowned Promotional Ambassador Nancy Sit and the winners of the Miss Exhibition Pageant, as well as an impressive Kamcha masterclass, showcasing the craft of authentic Hong Kong-style milk tea.
 
The expo welcomes visitors daily from 11 am to 7 pm. Admission is free. To enhance convenience, organiser have arranged for complimentary shuttle bus services on five routes throughout the city.

The Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo (HKBPE) was first held by the CMA in 1938 and has since made tremendous contributions to promoting Hong Kong’s industries and external trade. Attracting millions of visitors every year, HKBPE has become one of Hong Kong’s most important annual events and is deeply rooted in the hearts of the local community. Over the years, the CMA has organised HKBPE in many major mainland cities, and in 2016, the expo made its debut in Macau.
