The captioned event is jointly organized by Dah Sing Bank & Friends of the Earth (HK) and supported by the CMA.  “SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme” aims to enable local SMEs transition and thrive as Hong Kong and Greater China evolve towards a more sustainable economy. To help SMEs understand the ever-changing ESG trends, a series of activities will be organized, including knowledge sharing through industry leaders at thematic forums, workshops, etc., to enable local SMEs to understand the relevance of ESG practices to the industry ecosystem and hence to practice sustainable operations.
Being one of the key industries in the Hong Kong, retail industry has brought huge economic benefits to the society. Improvement in digital payment and logistic makes e-commerce a new trend, Hong Kong online retail sales value hit HK$28 billion in 2021, increased 39% year-by-year. How can SMEs respond to the trend of ESG and digital transformation?
